I was thinking of making a strictly favourite Shakespeare play thread, but decided favourite play in general would probably be better.

So, uh...
I'm gonna have to say, out of all the one's I've read in english, and seen performed, I'd have to say I really enjoyed Macbeth. We're reading Hamlet right now.

Anyways, discussdiscussdiscuss.

Eh, I've never really been one for plays... I prefer realism (not as in, real life. Fantasy's all good) and acting just has this... fakeness when I've seen them.

I've only seen a couple of Shakespeare ones acted out. But up here we're forced to read one every year for english. I dunno if it's the same situation everywhere else in the world.
Freshman year = Julius Caesar/King Lear
Sophmore year = Romeo and Juliet
Junior year = Macbeth
Senior year = Hamlet

Ah, well I've had to do Macbeth then Romeo and Juliet. Out of them I preffered Macbeth but I still didn't like it much.
